Online Shopping — A Cautionary Tale

In retrospect, the name of the company should have been a warning: OneCarrots. But I clicked on, regardless. Why should a cavalier approach to grammar be illustrative of their attitude to product quality, customer service, or their own returns policy?

I blame the boots: they reminded me of a pair I owned when I was four years old. My favourite boots in the whole world, miraculously revived and offered by OneCarrots at the bargain price of thirty quid. I ordered a pair.

All good so far. Follow up messages. Thank you for your order. Boots are dispatched. Boots arrive.
